Why work for ODST
At ODST we pride ourselves on being very different from the image you might have of working for a large multi academy trust.
We are wholly committed to our family feel and preserving and developing the unique nature of each of our schools. Our schools are empowered to work with their local governing bodies to make the decisions they believe to be right for their pupils and community. They are supported by our small central team to ensure they have the resources and skills to be able to do the job brilliantly.
Support and development
We operate a strong school effectiveness programme, developed with the input of headteachers. A regular programme of CPD activities is available to staff, to enable up-skilling and knowledge sharing across schools.
We are keen to promote staff development through this CPD and through in-school development, as well as through opportunities that being part of a large family of schools presents, such as cross-school working, secondments or mentoring.
