ODST welcomes new central team members

ODST is beginning the new year by welcoming three new staff members to the central team supporting our schools.

Ian Elkington, Deputy CEO and Lead Education Officer. Ian is an experienced headteacher, most recently at Glory Farm Primary School in Bicester, and has also previously worked in school improvement at Bucks County Council. Ian will lead on school effectiveness, school operations and governance.

Sara Lawrence, School Effectiveness Adviser. Sara brings headteacher experience from both Hertfordshire and Oxfordshire and will be supporting ODST schools in North and West Oxfordshire.

Mike Bingham, Operations Manager. Mike joins us from Oxfordshire County Council’s health and safety team. In addition to health and safety, he’ll be responsible for site and supplier matters and will take on the designation of Data Protection Officer for ODST.

Ian, Sara and Mike will be visiting schools and taking part in ODST meetings and events throughout the term to enable them to meet and get to know schools across the trust.
