Joining ODST as an NQT
Oxford Diocesan Schools Trust (ODST) is a thriving Multi-Academy Trust, serving over 6,100 pupils within our family of 33 distinctive primary, infant, junior and middle schools.
We are a values-led organisation, and our people are passionate about providing the best educational experience possible. Our schools are places where children develop and thrive intellectually, socially, culturally and spiritually.
Each school has its own unique identity, but all share a commitment to excellence for the children in their care.
ODST schools are situated in five hubs across Oxfordshire and Berkshire. Our hub structure supports strong local school-to-school collaboration and opportunities for professional development. View schools and hubs on a map.
Support to help you focus on what matters most
ODST offers you the supportive environment you need, to enable you to provide children with the high-quality education they deserve.
Our termly NQT network meetings will give you the chance to meet with NQTs from other schools in the Trust, discuss best practice and gain support from our experienced team of school advisers.
ODST teachers also benefit from a wide range of professional development opportunities, for example:
- Mathematics and English Subject Learning Networks
- Early Years Network
- Moderation Meetings
- Middle Leadership Development Programme
- CPD events covering a wide variety of topics eg PSHE, writing, tracking data.
